New York Rangers vs Washington Capitals live stream, NBC Sports TV info: Watch online NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs 2015 Game 3

The New York Rangers will play the Washington Capitals in Game 3 of their NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs 2015 series on Monday night. Things are all tied up at 1-1 coming into tonight's game, and that means today's result will be pivotal as to which way this series will potentially go.

The big Game 3 match up between the Rangers and Capitals has a scheduled start time of 7.30 p.m. ET and takes place from the Verizon Center in Washington DC. The game can be watched on TV on the NBC Sports network or online through live stream via the link provided below.

The first two games of this Eastern Conference Second Round series has shown how close this match up will be, and many are already expecting this to go to a winner takes all Game 7.

The Capitals return to home ice on Monday night looking to maintain their dominant run at the Verizon Center that has seen them complete three straight wins over the New York Islanders here, and follow that up with a win over the New York Rangers in Game 1 of this series.

Washington outscored the Islanders 11-5 at the Verizon Center over their three games here, and they will be confident to keep that home run going tonight.

Washington forward Jay Beagle has said ahead of the game: "It was good to get that first win [Thursday] but we felt as a group, we kind of let one get away from us in Game 2 and we had a chance to come out hard. [The Rangers] came out hard and played a good first period. We knew it was going to be a battle in Game 2 but it's behind us now and we're just looking forward to Game 3, especially at Verizon Center."

The Capitals have not lost two straight games yet in this postseason and will do everything in their power to ensure that doesn't start now. But if they are to succeed where they failed in Game 2, they will have to find a way to slow down the Rangers' frantic pace from the start.

In Game 2 the Rangers came out of the blocks at an overwhelming pace, outshooting the Capitals 15-4 in the first period, running out to a 2-0 lead after just 20 minutes.

However, that was at the Madison Square Garden, and tonight is at the Verizon Center, so expect the Capitals to look to take the game to the Rangers from the start.

Today's big Game 3 between the New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals will start at 7.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on NBC Sports or online through live stream by clicking here.
