People are excited for Thanksgiving day on Nov. 23. Many had already planned out their menu for Thanksgiving dinner, and Netflix is urging families to stream family-themed movies after dinner. Netflix offers a variety of films that take on different genres like comedy, romantic, and drama.

Huffington Post uploaded an article enumerating the top 5 must-watched movies available on Netflix. All the films recommended by the article are animated. The list includes "Moana," "Zootopia," "My Life as a Zucchini," "Coraline," and "Pete's Dragon." Huffpost indicated that these movie options are suitable for all ages and pack amazing values for families. Netflix has a wide Disney content including "Mulan," "Finding Dory," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," and more.

Most of Netflix's movies under the family category are either animated, fantasy, or classic. Among the suggested family films by Netflix are "Karate Kid 2," "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep," "Monster House," "Madeline," "The Polar Express," "Arthur Christmas," and so much more.

Elite Daily's list of Thanksgiving movies includes a lot of classics like "13 Going on 30," "Field of Dreams," "Dead Poets Society," "Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey," "Pocahontas," and "Adventures of Babysitting."

Netflix also added new movies for its subscribers to choose from. Among the family movies added by Netflix recently is the action, adventure, and family film "Undercover Grandpa" starring James Caan and Jessica Walter.

After Thanksgiving dinner, viewers can also choose between comedy movies like "The Meyerowitz Stories" starring star comedians Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller. The movie received great reviews from critics as one of the best family movies of 2017.
