Netflix will be ushering in new shows this July as well as familiar movies that will take viewers to as far back as the '60s. However, the streaming service provider will also be removing several titles from its roster.
On July 1, the first, second, and third installments in the "Back to Future" film franchise will bring viewers back to past, as will the 1966 "Batman: The Movie." Some of the other films that will debut on on the first of next month include "Beavis and Butt-head Do America," "Beverly Hills Cop" I and II, "The Italian Job," all five "Lethal Weapon" movies, "Cinderalla Man," Blade 2," and "Mean Girls."
There are many more movies to be featured on July 1, according to the list provided by The Hollywood Reporter, but "The Big Short" will be shown on July 6, "A War" on July 7,"The Invitation" on July 8, "Mustang" on July 9, "Rolling Papers" on July 12 and "Gridlocked" on July 14. In the second half of the month, viewers can start watching "Fighting" on July 16,"The Wave" on July 27, and "Tallulah" on July 29.
The first season of "Deep," "Marcella" and "The Shannara Chronicles" will be shown on July 1; "Kumomukuro" on July 4; "NSU German History X" on July 7; "World Party" on July 8; and "Mystery Files" on July 9. Season 1 of "The Last Kingdom" is scheduled for July 10, "Magi: The Adventures of Sinbad" on July 14, "Stranger Things" on July 15, and "Home: Adventures With Tip & Oh" on July 29.
Shows that will be returning next month include"Between," "Marco Polo," and "Raiders of the Lost Art" on July 1; "Todd Margaret" on July 14; "The Adventures of Puss in Boots" on July 15; "Liv and Maddie" on July 19; and "BoJack Horseman" and "Degrassi: Next Class" on July 22. "Popples" will start airing on July 24, "LEGO Bionicle: The Journey to One" on July 29, "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" on July 30 and "Hit Record on TV with Joseph Gordon-Levitt" on July 31.
However, Vanity Fair reports that the first six "Star Trek" films plus "Star Trek: Generations" will be removed from the roster, as will be "2001: Space Odyssey," "A League of Their Own," "My Sister's Wedding," and "Notting Hill." The two "The Flintstones" films will also say goodbye, as well as "Ice Age: The Meltdown," "The Right Stuff" and several more. Seasons 1 to 5 of "Flashpoint," seasons 1 and 2 of "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood," seasons 1 to 7 of "Medium," seasons 1 to 3 of "The Game," seasons 1 to 6 of "Numb3rs," and seasons 1 to 3 of "Wild Kratts" will no longer be shown.
