Fans cannot wait for the release of "NBA 2K17," especially now that several trades have happened. Another thing that excites the fans is the possibility that the digital version of Stephen Curry may able to replicate his real-life moves in the upcoming game release. A lack of this has been one of the downsides of "NBA 2K16."

2K Games gameplay director Mike Wang mentioned that their team had a balancing problem with Curry. He has stumped the development team with his moves, which they cannot translate into a digital format.

"To be completely honest, we are still looking for ways to better translate his game into NBA 2K," said Wang previously to Forbes.

He added, "He's a 'rule breaker' when it comes to jump shooting ... he becomes a problem in the video game world where we've been trying to train our gamers [to know] that certain types of shots should be rewarded versus others."

Aside from the correct representation of Curry, video game fans are also looking forward to the current lineup of the Golden State Warriors, particularly now that they are considered the strongest team in the league and adding another strong player, Kevin Durant.

Just like the real-life league, Durant will be joining Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymon Green – known as the team's Big Three. NBA 2K16 already has the three players in the highest rating, and adding Durant to the team will put a big smile on a gamers' face.

It was only on July 4 that Durant announced his plan to sign with the GSW, citing a need for professional and personal growth as his reason for the decision.

As previously reported, "NBA 2K17" game will also come in three editions, Standard for US$59.99, Legend for US$79.99 and Legend Gold for US$99.99. Special bonuses will also be given to fans who will be pre-ordering the game.

"NBA2K17" is scheduled to be released on Sept. 20 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
