"Naruto Shippuden" episode 483 will give fans an idea about the life of Jiraiya and Kakashi during their early years. It will also focus on the two characters' ninja academy days.

Jiraiya is was known as the Legendary Sanin trained by the Third Hokage, while Kakashi is the son of Sakumo Hatake, the White Fang of the Leaf. Fans will see why Jiraiya is good at what he does, while it will also show the effect on Kakashi when he saw his father dead, after committing suicide, due to the hatred and cruelty of his fellow villagers. It is said that the particular incident in Kakashi's life transformed him forever, and it made him decide not to commit the same mistakes, but instead, follow the Shinobi Rules and set aside personal emotions.

In episode 842, fans were introduced to the young Gaara who grew up without a mother. Temari and Kankuro, his siblings, always wanted to be with him, but they were forbidden by their father since Gaara is too dangerous because of his skills at a young age. Villagers often avoided him since they afraid of getting injured or accidentally getting killed. This, however, caused him pain and an unbearable agony. He just wanted to offer the villagers of the Hidden Sand some help.

Yashamaru, Gaara's uncle, was one of the persons that he grew up with and the only one who understands him. His father taught him his Ninjutsu knowledge.

Shikamaru grew up in the Nara clan, and he is naturally lazy, but his rare intelligence allows him and his team to succeed in combat. He and Choji have been best of friends since they were kids. They met while playing ninja games that the kids liked to play back then.

One scene showed Shikamaru and Choji having a fight while Naruto was asleep. They were punished by Iruka and were sent down the hallway. This is the first time that the trio met.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 483 will air next Thursday.
