It is now part one of the most popular memes today, thanks to Steve Harvey's major mishap at yesterday's Miss Universe 2015 live telecast. For the first time in the pageant's history, a host crowns the wrong woman.
This year's Miss Universe 2015 may have the most awkward winner announcement in history as this year's host, Steve Harvey, read the name of the first runner-up Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and declared her as the winner. He however came out minutes after Miss Colombia was crowned and declared that it is, in fact, Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach who won.
It may have been embarrassing for the 58-year-old host as it happened on live television, but the people from the Internet seem determined to not let him forget about it.
