"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is reportedly all set to release an update next month which should be good news for gamers who are looking for improvements and new perks in the said game.

Headlining the updates (courtesy of Reddit user hecheff) to be expected include the debut of a new character named Raiden, someone who can be used in wormholes and someone that will be armed with special weapons. Right now, it remains to be seen what requirements would be needed to use the new character so keep an eye out for that.

Aside from Raiden, other improvements include new gun camera placements, Forward Operating Bases, and challenges which would include a Skulls encounter.

The free placement of Gun Cameras and land mines is a special mode that should be interesting, something that looms to be an addition aside from the standard placements, depending on the one behind the game controller.

There is also that new host migration feature which should come in handy in the event that a player would exit from a current game after which a fellow player can be selected to play host. All players for the game will get added EXP except for the one hosting it.

Improved search of rooms stands to be made better as well with the new match conditions coming with the said update. Among the new conditions include on/off walker gears, as well as Weather and Room names which can be used for filtering room searches.

Take note that the above-mentioned features are only some of the many highlights that the coming update will be carrying. There are a whole lot more expected and hopefully they will be equally interesting and helpful for the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" hardcore gamers out there.

For those who are unaware, "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" came out last September with versions available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 (PS3), PS4, and personal computer (PC).
