Apple Inc. is expected to hold a new unveiling event in October to launch the highly-anticipated MacBook Air 2016.

The new edition of the tech giant's ultra-thin laptops, as well as the MacBook Pro, are noticeably absent during the company's keynote event held on Sept. 7. But new speculations claimed that another keynote forum will be conducted next month for the rumored products.

Mirror UK spotted a report from MacRumors claiming that Apple could be considering to unveil the MacBook products at a separate event sometime in October since the Cupertino-based tech firm might still be busy with the iPhone 7 launch and release this month.

But while the tech firm has yet to make any announcements regarding the rumored October keynote event, speculations claimed that the new MacBook Air 2016 will be significantly slimmer and lighter compared to its predecessor.

The new MacBook Air 2016 is also rumored to come out with Intel's latest processor called the Kaby Lake, which is expected to come out in the last quarter of the year. The device will also be packed with additional RAM storage, as well as a possible inclusion of the retina display feature that is now available in other Apple products.

There are also reports claiming that the upcoming MacBook Air device will run using the MacOS Sierra operating system and feature the Type-C USB support. On the other hand, other reports claimed that the new device will come up with a new trackpad that has an Apple Pencil support, as well as the Fingerprint scanner technology.

Aside from the MacBook Air 2016, gadget watchers are also expecting to see the product line of the MacBook Pro 2016 that reportedly comes with a lot of new improvements compared to the past MacBook Pro editions. The new line of iPad products is also believed to be unveiled at the rumored October event if it will happen.
