Lego Dimensions is expected to come out sometime in September but this early, it seems game developers are trying to whip up interest with an interesting trailer featuring the former Hanna Barbera and now Warner Bros. famed cartoon characters, Scooby-Doo and the gang.

The trailer kicks off showing the iconic and lovable mutt Scooby-Doo together with bosom buddy Shaggy their usual pizza, only that it will come with a mystery box. It turns out that the box will contain bricks, which Scooby-Doo eventually assembles to form a LEGO Gateway, which will bring all the minifigurines to life for the said game.

From there, folks will be able to see what the Scooby-Doo Team pack will bring to the said video game, a great add-on, which should spice up things. This should also be a big bonus for the gamers who are also fans of Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, and the rest of the gang. For those who want to see the trailer, you will find it below.

But it looks like Scooby-Doo is not the only one coming to Lego Dimensions. Other characters and familiar objects originating from other niches will be also included. Among them include ones from Ghostbusters, the Wizard of Oz, and Portal 2.

With the add-ons, players will be getting 14 additional levels for the game. This will include the Ghostbusters area, the house from the Simpsons, some characters from DC Comics, and a Portal 2 test chamber.

As for Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, both characters will have unique abilities, while the famed Mystery Machine and Scooby-Doo Snack can reportedly be physically built. Either of the two said characters can also unlock the Scooby-Doo Adventure World as well, a whole new world of gameplay that is different from the original story.

Excited to get your hands on Lego Dimensions? The game is expected to be released on Sept. 27 for Play Station 3 (PS3), PS4, personal computer (PC), Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
