Kim Kardashian is pregnant. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star revealed in a teaser clip, shown after the show's season finale, that she is expecting her second child with husband Kanye West. In the clip that was aired Sunday, an excited Kim hears the good news during a doctor's appointment, then shared it with her sister Khloe shortly after.

"I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!" an ecstatic Kim tells her sister, who appears to be stunned by her announcement.

It's not known how far along the 34-year old is in her pregnancy or when the latest addition to the Kardashian clan is due to make an appearance. The baby will be a sister or a brother to Kim and Kanye's daughter North, who's almost two.

Kim's mom Kris Jenner posted her congratulations to the happy couple on Instagram. She uploaded a photo of Kim and Kanye and wrote that she "can't wait to meet your new little love bug."

The reality star certainly has every reason to be elated with her pregnancy as she had a difficult time getting pregnant for the second time, and Kim has documented her fertility struggles on the reality series.

During the May 31 episode of "KUWTK," she talked about how exhausted she was by all the procedures, which included a biopsy and ovulation tests. Not knowing what else to do, she even turned to psychic John Edward in the hope of getting some advice.

Last month, Kim told E! News that she and her husband were really trying to have another baby.

"You can't try harder than we try," she told the website at the time.

Since the news broke about her pregnancy, the Internet exploded with the same suggestion for her baby's name, and in a matter of hours after the midseason finale of "KUWTK" aired, "South West" became a trending topic on Twitter worldwide.

Kim and Kanye made their first red carpet appearance after the pregnancy announcement at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Monday, June 1. The reality star told Us Weekly that she is suffering from morning sickness and that there are days when she can barely get out of bed. However, she said that she is so grateful to be pregnant that feeling sick hardly matters to her.

"We didn't even think it was going to happen for us [so] I don't care how sick I am," she said.
