Many fans witnessed John Cena go down on one knee to propose to longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella on live television. Fast forward to now after a few ups and downs on their wedding plans, they are finally back at it again and hopefully this time, they can finalize on things.

When popular figures get married to each other, the wedding would usually be nothing less of grand, but the two do not want that. A simple, humble, and intimate wedding would be more than enough for the two, according to Mirror.

"I think it's because I've waited so long to get engaged and now I'm just happy being a fiancée. Unless I start to think that John is getting cold feet then maybe I'll rush it. I'll be like 'let's get married tomorrow!'" said Bella, adding, "But we're just so happy to be engaged and I have a lot of great things happening in my life that everything just seems perfect, so I'm not in a rush."

It looks like they both really were not in a rush given that Bella had the time to join "Dancing With the Stars" where she recently just got eliminated. Although saddening, Bella seemed alright with the result, but it was Cena who was left in shock. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cena testified to just how much his beloved had fiancée improved in a span of seven weeks in the show.

Nevertheless, the end of her stint in the show signals them going back to the drawing board of their future, with their wedding the first on their agenda. When asked about starting a family and having kids, Cena, who plays the role of a father in family movie "Daddy's Home 2," said that it is not really in their plans as of now. Nikki, on the other hand initially wanted to have children but with her twin sister herself giving birth, she is satisfied with being an aunt.

As for now, there is not much else known about their wedding. Fans can only expect it to be simple as preferred by Bella.
