iPhone 8 release date, specs, price news: All-new iPhone to cost around $1000

The iPhone 8 is the most-awaited iPhone yet for Apple users, but with all of its upgrades, how much will it be priced? The most expensive iPhone now costs around $960 and the new iPhone is predicted to be worth more than that.

September is just around the corner and Apple fans are waiting for the announcement from Apple regarding the release of their new line of iPhones. It's become apparent that since this year is the iPhone's 10th anniversary, Apple will come out with a newly designed iPhone.

Apple's iPhone 8 is rumored to have major updates including a new 5.8-inch organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display, an edge-to-edge design with no home button and the A11 processor. Also, Apple users will no longer have the option of purchasing an iPhone with 32 GB of storage, since new iPhones are set to only have two storage options — 128 GB and 256 GB.

LG Innotek has come up with software that supports facial recognition, which is said to be coming the new iPhone 8. LG Innotek and Apple paired up last year, in order to develop the first 3D facial recognition camera system. Facial recognition is supposedly replacing the fingerprint sensor on the new iPhone.

According to Goldman Sachs' note to investors, as reported by Business Insider, the starting price for the iPhone 8 128 GB will be $999 and an additional $100 for the 256 GB.

The iPhone 8 is not the only iPhone that is expected to come out this September. Upgraded versions of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, called 7s and 7s Plus, are also expected to come out. These iPhones won't have the same upgrades as the iPhone 8 but will include larger displays.

Apple has not made any announcements regarding their new line of iPhones, nor have they confirmed any news surrounding the iPhone 8.
