iOS 8 Beta 3 is now available for download to developers and packs an improve d Health app.

Apple has made significant changes on the upcoming Health application in the latest beta version of the iOS 8. The new Health application will make use of the M&7 motion co-processor for data sourcing.

One of the sections of Apple's new Health app is the Steps counter tab that can count and report the number of steps taken without using any third party applications or hardware devices. The new iOS will utilize the M7 processor to track the movement for data sourcing.

The new feature will allow you to sort data by Day, Week, Month, and Year, and users are able to remove individual sets of Steps tracking from the app. Moreover, users can share the data through other apps from App Store.

Apart from Steps counter, Apple also added a tracker for caffeine along with other nutritional categories in the Health app. Meanwhile, there are several apps on the App Store that can track and analyze caffeine intake of the user. These developers will integrate their apps to the iOS 8. Lastly, Apple packed a Medical ID, which is an emergency card feature.

The iOS 8 Beta 3 is meant for developers to tweak their apps for the new iOS 8. The new beta version includes updates and fixes for the bugs found in the previous version. According to reports, the iOS 8 Beta 3 will be the last beta update of the mobile software before the official version will be released in the fall.

Some of the software features included in the new iOS are updates to the photos, iMessage and the keyboard applications. The search function, Spotlight, and iCloud will also be improved. iOS 8 will also pack the much awaited Health application to manage the health information of the user such as heart monitor, BMI and track medications.
