Modern mobile games provide hours of fun with all their fancy graphics and more. The same holds true even for old games, like the classic Nintendo DS games. Now, iPhone, iPad, and even iPad Touch owners can install the NDS4iOS Nintendo DS emulator straight into their devices and have hours of fun. It works on several iOS versions with no jailbreak required.

The emulator itself is not available at the App Store, but it can easily be downloaded from iemulators.com. Simply go to the website using Safari or other browsers on any iOS device. Once there, tap on Apps at the top of the page, then scroll down and look for NDS4iOS and tap on it. Next, tap the Install button in order to start the ball rolling. Simply answer the confirmation dialogue box that will pop-up next and wait until it finishes.

In order to install Nintendo DS ROMs, the iOS device must be connected to a computer, with iTunes installed. Select the appropriate device, and switch to the Apps section were an "nds4ios" device would be seen. Simply drag and drop the .nds files for each game.

Going back to the app, the ROM list can be accessed via the menu icon in the top-left corner. From here, simply select the game that the app needs to load.

Another option to transfer ROMS to an iOS device is by using online storage. Now not all emulators will work with it, but another one called iNDS can get its ROMs from a Dropbox account.

NDS4iOS is fully compatible with iOS versions 9, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 10, 10.1, and 10.1.1.

The most common issues for this kind form of entertainment is its certificates coming from Apple. Once Apple stops signing the certificate, the emulators will stop working, but gamers just need to sit it out for a few hours, and it will start working again.

Meanwhile, a GBA emulator is also available and is called GBA4iOS. However, this will only work with iOS 9.3, 9.3.1, and 9.3.2.
