Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have been married for more than a month, and "The Vampire Diaries" actor couldn't resist showering his bride with gifts as the two were recently spotted at What Goes Around Comes Around, a luxury vintage clothing and accessories boutique in New York City.

On Monday afternoon, shortly after the actor and the "Twilight" star returned from their lavish honeymoon in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, and Europe, People magazine reported that they stopped by at the upscale Soho boutique because Somerhalder wanted to introduce his wife to his close friends Seth Weisser and Gerard Maione, who co-owns the place.

"Ian wanted to bring Nikki to his favorite store — and surprise her with a wedding gift," said the source to the magazine.

Reed reportedly purchased a full-length Gianfranco Ferre white duster coat, which she wore over her black top and cutoff denim shorts while perusing other items in the shop.

As a special treat for his wife, People reported that Somerhalder bought Reed her "dream bag," a black, vintage, lambskin, quilted Chanel camera bag with a gold chain, from among many purses in the shop that retail for about $2,000 to $3,500.

"They had fun looking through all the other vintage pieces in the store and bought a great selection of stuff to take home," the source added.

The happy couple is clearly still in their honeymoon phase after their April 26 wedding in Malibu. Last month, Somerhalder and Reed made headlines when the actor refused to take a photo with fans while he was out and about with his wife in Paris.

In a video taken by a fan, the TVD actor is seen shaking hands with three fans before delivering a polite apology speech.

"I love you guys. I'm not taking a single photo today. It's my day. Don't follow us please. I love you guys. You're so good to us. You're awesome," said Somerhalder.
