"Hunter x Hunter" fans are wishing for chapter 361 to arrive in mid-2017. The manga series is currently on hiatus due to the health condition of creator Yoshihiro Togashi.

It is speculated that the story will pick up where chapter 360 left off. The last one ended with Kurapika investigating about the Nen user behind the killings on their ship. This also serves as a big cliffhanger that fans have been wondering about since June.

There are several rumors going around with regards to the long break of the series. There are some reports suggesting that Togashi cannot work long hours now and that he needs a long break from the tedious work needed in creating a single chapter of the manga.

There are also reports saying that his wife, Naoko Takeuchi, will be taking over the continuation of the series. Takeuchi is also a manga author, and she is behind the highly successful "Sailor Moon" series.

It was also rumored that, due to his back problems, Togashi hired a team to work on his manga series. He acted as a consultant, and he had the final word for the finished product. However, it is said that Togashi was not satisfied with the result and decided to put things on hold. It is said that he will resume once he has fully recuperated from his illness.

Currently, there is still no word about Togashi's condition or about "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361. Fans are only wishing that the manga artist can get back to his former physical condition so that he can continue what he loves doing.

"Hunter x Hunter" was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since March 1998 and has 350 chapters as of June 2016. Viz Media releases the English version in North America from 2005.

The series was also turned into an anime. Its first series ran from October 1999 up until March 2001, and the second series started in October 2011 until September 2014.

There were also films and original video animations (OVA) created for the series.
