Huawei Nexus 6P vs. Apple iPhone 6s: A showdown between two big phones

 Huawei Official

The battle between iOS and Android smartphones continues, with Apple's iPhone 6s being compared to Nexus 6P. Both phones were released a few months ago, but how are they different from each other? Which one is a better buy?

Based on several reviews, the Huawei Nexus 6P is an impressive phone that serves as a potential competitor of iPhones.

Looking at the design, both smartphones are appealing with their exterior look. Both phones carry different color variations that should look attractive to different people, but the 6s offers the Rose Gold color that a lot of people love.

When it comes to screen size though, the Nexus 6P offers larger view with a 5.7-inch screen, while the 6s only has 4.7 inches.

As for the screen resolution, Nexus has trumped iPhone 6s, since it is recorded at 2,560 x 1440 versus the latter's 1,334 x 750. Nexus may have won the bigger screen size title, but for some users, size could make handling quite difficult, as noted by David Gilbert of International Business Times.

Camera specs can also be important to some people and both devices are doing great in this category. Nexus and iPhone take great stills and videos, all thanks to their 12-megapixel main camera and the capability to shoot 4k videos.

Meanwhile, when it comes to specs, KnowYourMobile notes that the 6P is more impressive in this category. Starting with the storage, Nexus 6P offers 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB variants compared to the 6s' 16, 64 and 128 GB. According to the tech news outlet, people will less likely buy a 16 GB phone. In addition, Nexus 6P has a 3 GB RAM, while 6s only has 2 GB.

For battery life, Nexus 6P is also doing great. When compared to the larger iPhone 6s Plus, it has the same level of power that allows the device to last all day without charging.

All in all, most reviews find that Nexus 6P offers better specs, but iPhone can still be equally impressive. The two smartphones are both in the $1000 category, although Nexus 6P's entry-level is much cheaper.
