HTC One M10 rumor roundup: What's known about HTC's next device

September is just around the corner, and with that, it's only natural to speculate on what devices smartphone companies are cooking up in their labs.

In a Tech Advisor report, the HTC One M10 is the point of focus. After a successful run with the One M8 last year and the One M9 follow-up this year, speculation is that the M10 is not far behind. But what will the HTC One M10 have that will separate it from both the competition and its brethren?

According to the article, HTC has seemingly adopted an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach, and it looks like the current One M9 was a product of this approach. It might not work with the One M10, however, and this might not even be the official name of the product once it finally gets the green light. Android Pit reports that HTC's One M10 might improve upon some factors lacking in their previous phones.

It might be that the HTC One M9 has even helped the M10. According to the article, the One M9 being so similar to the M8 didn't sit well with many circles; and it is highly speculated that the next phone would have features that are strikingly different from the HTC One M9.

Nothing is known as of yet about the upcoming phone's different details, but perhaps the company will improve upon the 20.7 MP camera of the M9; there's also the One M9's display, as well as the battery of the phone, that need improvement.

The release date for the One M10 is so far unknown, but HTC might be priming the phone to rival big names like Samsung, Apple, Sony, and the rest. That puts the phone arriving by at least early next year.
