Blizzard just released a brand new patch for its multiplayer online battle arena videogame, "Heroes of the Storm," and while it may mean a lot of things for fans of the game, the patch release can mean only one thing for "Overwatch" gamers: the start of the Nexus challenge.

Rolling out a brand new update for "Heroes of the Storm," Blizzard has announced that the highly anticipated cross-game Nexus challenge has just been made live for gamers in the U.S. Now, "Overwatch" and "Heroes of the Storm" gamers can try their hand at winning new loot for both games as they take on Blizzard's new challenges.

The task is fairly easy. All gamers have to do is to team up with one or a few more friends to play at least 15 games in "Heroes of the Storm." The qualified games can be done in different modes like Co-op vs. AI, Quick Match, Unranked Draft, or Ranked. However the games have to be pursued from Nov. 15, 2016 to Jan. 4, 2017.

Once gamers complete the challenge, they receive pretty neat loot for both "Heroes of the Storm" and "Overwatch." For those who aren't satisfied with 15, Blizzard allows gamers to continue the challenge by going for 30 and adding more items to the growing "Heroes of the Storm" collection.

For those who complete 15 games, Blizzard hands out an Oni Genji Skin, an Oni Genji Portrait and an Onji Genji Spray for "Overwatch." Meanwhile, "Heroes of the Storm" rewards are Zarya and an Oni Genji Portrait. Meanwhile, gamers who chose to go for 30 games get Auriel, Greymane, Kerrigan, Li-Ming, an Orochi HOvercylce Mount and a 30 Day Stimpack in "Heroes of the Storm."

Meanwhile, in other "Heroes of the Storm" news, Blizzard's new update adds in a new brawl mode to the game called "Blackheart's Revenge" along with a new hero.
