"GTA" fans are speculating that developer Rockstar North is currently working on the sixth installment of its main game series. "Grand Theft Auto 6" is expected to be announced next year and then released in 2018.

It has already been a little more than three years since the last game was released, and game fans are aware that it takes a long time to create such blockbuster games. Gamers are speculating that it will take around four to five years before "GTA 6" gets released. They are looking forward that it could be announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2017. It is also expected to arrive by the last quarter of 2018.

There are also different places that the "GTA 6" could use. Previous reports suggested that the next game could take place in Tokyo. The city of London was also rumored to be used, while others speculate that it would stay within the United States. There are still many states where the game can base its fictional city.

However, a YouTuber named Sernandoe compiled a short video that explains the possible places that the alleged game could use in its next game, based on Easter Eggs found in the "GTA 5" game. There is also a possibility that Rockstar could go back to one of the cities used in the previous games.

Accordingly, the developer has left several clues to its avid players. One of them is an airline ticket in Michael's house that has the flyU6 logo, similar to the billboard sign in "GTA 4." It suggests that the character could possibly travel back to North Yankton, where he previously confront Trevor.

Another possible location is Vice City, as a towel is printed with an "I love VC" logo on one of the beach shore showed. It is also possible that Liberty City may be included, as indicated by a "GTA 4" radio station called Liberty Rock. Lastly, in the video presentation was a marking on a wall that closely resembles the Palace of Westminster in London, complete with the Big Ben.

Fans can only speculate since Rockstar has not issued any official word about the upcoming game.
