'GTA 5' DLC news: Lowriders Part 2 DLC to drop next week?

The next "GTA 5" DLC is said to be an expansion of last year's Lowriders Rockstar Newswire

Rumor has it that developer Rockstar will be releasing a DLC pack for "GTA 5" next week. According to reports and various "GTA" leaksters, the game studio is exhibiting telltale signs of an impending expansion pack release.

To begin with, the double money and RP events and weekly deals that Rockstar has going on right now hint that a "GTA 5" DLC is on the way. This is because the developer usually hosts such events prior to an announcement of new DLC.

To add fuel to the fire, popular "GTA" tipster Tezfunz claims that "GTA 5" DLC will be made official on March 11. The Double GTA$ & RP event will conclude on March 10, which makes it more likely for Rockstar to lay out the news about the new DLC.

Tezfunz based the claim on Yan2295's –another "GTA" tipster – cryptic tweet below:

Tezfunz initially tweeted out that March 11 could be the day Rockstar will come out with the new "GTA 5" DLC. He, however, deleted the tweet and sent out a new one hinting that the expansion pack will actually make a splash on March 15. He didn't acknowledge his initial tweet, though.

As for what this "GTA 5" DLC will be all about, word on the street is that it will expand the existing Lowrider DLC in the game that was made available back in October last year.

The upcoming March DLC is being dubbed Lowriders Part 2, which is expected to drop seven new cars including newer models of The Faction, The Mini Van, SabreGT, Tornado, Virgo and Slam Van.

The much-awaited "GTA 5" DLC is also rumored to enrich the features and offers of Benny's Original Motor Works. While the so-called DLC is centered on the vehicles, Rockstar is purportedly outing a brand new Rifle and a shotgun up for grabs.
