A new gameplay video for the upcoming "Gran Turismo Sport" has been released by Planet GT. The eight-minute clip highlights the Nurburgring track, the highly detailed race cars, and an enhanced audio.

"Gran Turismo" fans are now able to appreciate what the attendees at the Paris Motor Show witnessed last week. The car used in the video was a Mercedes AMG GT S, and it was tested out on the 5.14 km. racetrack.

Fans have immediately noticed the big improvement in terms of graphics. The cars are almost identical to its real-life counterpart, and the racetrack looks similarly real. Bring in the light effects and the fantastic sound of revving engines, every car aficionado will surely jump into the game with their game steering wheel at hand.

"Gran Tourismo Sport" was originally set for a November 2016 release, but was later moved by Polyphony Digital, the game developer. The studio decided to hold the release to a still undisclosed date sometime in 2017, in order to make the game better.

Nothing much has been heard from the studio since the news about the release date cancellation, and now, this. The audio quality of the latest gameplay video shows a big improvement from the previous releases. It is expected that all the cars will have a realistic engine sound, Segment Next reported.

Fans are also speculating that Polyphony will include night races and weather cycles to make the game more exciting. There are also rumors which suggest that the game will take advantage of the processing power of the recently announced PlayStation 4 Pro.

"Gran Tourismo" is one of the longest-running franchises in the history of the PlayStation. It has appeared in every version of the home console, and it even landed on the PlayStation Portable back in 2009. However, it remained as an exclusive game as well. It is also one of the highly anticipated games to arrive on the PlayStation 4 in 2017.
