Google Nexus 7 Tablet 2016 release date, specs rumors: Will device be announced at Google's October 2016 event?

According to rumors, it seems that the Google Nexus 7 2016 will be announced sometime soon. After all, the hype for this device is certainly palpable, and it is bound to generate a lot of rumors and leaks.

Game N Guide reports that the source of the newest rumors for the Google Nexus 7 2016 is from a recent Twitter post made by a famous leakster named Evan Blass. While Blass revealed that the device is getting released, he made no mention of the exact release date for the anticipated device.

Regardless, it is possible that the device will instead be announced at the upcoming Google hardware event on Tuesday, Oct. 4. If the rumors are indeed true, the tech giant is expected to have the new Nexus 7 ready for a launch by 2016. Furthermore, after the device's announcement, it will then be released on Nov. 24.

Since Google partnered with Huawei to develop the Google Nexus 6P, it is expected that these two companies will once again collaborate for the Nexus 7. After all, as all tech enthusiasts know, Huawei's Charlene Munilall has confirmed that the company will once again work on the Nexus this year.

Vine Report says that there are reports suggesting that HTC is going to develop the two Nexus devices. As such, speculations suggest that Huawei will only develop the Google Nexus 7 2016 if HTC is going to develop the successors for the Nexus 5X and 6P, especially since it is the only thing that is left for them to make.

As for its specs, the leakster Blass said that the new Nexus 7 will have at least 4 GB of RAM, as well as a 64 GB of internal storage, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a 14 MP rear camera, a USB-C Port, and a host of other features that would surely give it an edge over other devices.
