The studio behind the "God of War" game — Santa Monica Studios — seems to be adamant in dispelling the rumors about the new "God of War 4" title to be released in 2017. As such, the game director has teased fans about the various features of the game in order to debunk the ridiculous speculations surrounding it.

According to Game N Guide, Cory Barlog recently posted some clarifications for the game. The game director says that "God of War 4" will not have the rumored 100-hour gameplay, but regardless, he promised that the game will be action-packed and adrenaline-inducing. The game will have a lot of impressively remarkable features that will surely excite any "God of War" fan.

Furthermore, Barlog also confirmed that the new "God of War" game will not feature mini-games, unlike its predecessors. After all, he said that the game will shift its focus more on the story as well as the adventures of the players, who will then be encountering more formidable enemies.

The combat system of "God of War 4" will also be a bit different compared to the earlier games in the series. However, fans should not worry as the game remains as fast-paced like the other hack-and-slash titles in the franchise.

Balrog also added that the game will be "satisfying as hell" once players start, as reported by Yibada. This means that the progression system of the new game will be much different in such a way that it encourages players to play the game more than once since it will not be as linear as the earlier games.

The new "God of War 4" is expected to be released around the fall of 2017, and the game is reportedly going to be exclusively available for the PlayStation 4 console. However, this is not yet fully confirmed, and as such fans should just stay tuned for more updates.
