"Gears of War 4 "is the latest installment that should be coming soon. Though it will be under a new backer, it remains to be seen what dramatic changes lie ahead for gamers who have played it from the previous game installments.

With the Gears of War franchise now under the tutelage of Microsoft Studios who had acquired the rights back in January of 2014, the only thing that is known is that it is undergoing massive progress. Such updates came from no other than Xbox head Phil Spencer, who likewise stressed that their main objective is to build on the focus of the name of the game, "Gears of War".

With concerns regarding when "Gears of War 4" would actually be made available, there is no official word on that for now. However, speculations are high that it could happen at the Entertainment Expo 3 this coming June, 2015. If so, this would be the perfect stage to show off  "Gears of War 4" where other game developers are bound to unveil their own offerings as well.

Being a new offering in their fold, a curious question on whether there would be a reboot or going back to the roots was thrown at Spencer. Though he did not directly give an answer, it seems that Microsoft Studios is indeed headed that way.

Spencer knows what "Gears of War" has established, referring to the previous game offerings of "Gears 2" and "Gears 3". Hence it may all be about re-establishing what the game is all about. And from the looks of it, Spencer and the Microsoft Studios will take it from there and hopefully come up with something better which gamers can look forward to.
