"Final Fantasy XV's" Crown Update is already live, and game developer Square Enix has released the notes for it for a closer look. However, it is in Japanese.

Nova Crystallis was kind enough to translate the patch notes from the game's official website. Game fans can expect a truckload of changes and improvements on the game's menu, playing field, battles and more. The Crown Update is reportedly around 7.2 GB, so players should make sure that there is enough space on the hard drive before loading up the game.

During a battle, players can perform an additional action that was featured on the Omen" trailer that was previously released. A "shift (warp) drop kick" can be performed when players are equipped with daggers, while a "backward shift (warp) magic" will activate the elemental magic within a small distance.

The Wait mode experience was also improved, which now includes the Ability Call, Libra Speed Increase, Wait Gauge Recovery and Surprise Attack Shift Break moves. Additional effects on the battle screen were also added for players to understand their HP stats. A light red filter on the screen means HP is less than 25 percent, while a dark red filter will appear when HP is almost gone.

On the playing field, players can now shift forward outside of battle. Players can also enjoy their favorite music while playing "Final Fantasy XV" with the in-game audio player. There is also a gallery in the main menu to see the acquired dishes by Ignis and the fish gathered by Noctis.

Normal to any game patch, several improvements were also included, such as numerous bug fixes, changes to gameplay comfort that includes camera view adjustments in tight places, improved menu, and other areas that can offer convenience. The game also brings game balance on side-quests, added dish types, fish types, and fishing locations. The Leviathan battle and boss encounter were also improved.

"Final Fantasy XV" is now available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
