'Fast and the Furious 8' release date, plot spoilers: The Rock shares new set shots

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson continues to torment fans of the "Fast and Furious" series. He has been posting image after image of his character inside a maximum security prison. He also revealed that his character will be busting out from the facility.

The latest information about the movie is definitely about Hobbs, played by The Rock. He has been posting several images where it seems that he is a special guest at a maximum prison facility. The latest image seems to show the prison break.

Prior this, there was this image where Hobbs is being confronted by several heavily geared security personnel. A short video clip was also posted about a week ago, also on the set of the "Fast 8." He was all pumped up and having some fun with the extras playing as prisoners and prison guards.

Meanwhile, several stars have been named to be joining the eighth installment of the series. These include Helen Mirren, Scott Eastwood, Charlize Theron (who will be playing Cipher), and Kristofer Hivju. Kurt Russel will be back to reprise his role as Frank Petty, as well as Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw.

"Fast and Furious" won't be it witout Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Lucas Black as Sean Boswell, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Chris Bridges as Tej Parker, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey and Elsa Pataky as Elena Neves.

So far, fans have seen a few of the vehicles featured in the upcoming movie, which include the iconic C2 Chevy Corvette, a highly modified Dodge Charger, a rally car, a Lamborghini, and even a Ram pickup truck modified to be drivable on ice.

"Fast and Furious 8" will hit the big screen on April 14, 2017.
