Ubisoft's popular game series, "Far Cry" is one video game full of action and adventure that never fails to excite fans because of its serious gameplay.

It is well-loved by many gamers, but some are looking forward to a new installment, "Far Cry 5."

The last "Far Cry" game was released back in 2014. The game is still fresh, but rumors are now circulating on a possibility of a 2016 release for the fifth game installment.

Ubisoft has the reputation of releasing new games every year, especially belonging to the "Assassin's Creed" series. While a "Far Cry" fanatic could hope for the same thing, it just isn't likely.

It may be noted that "Far Cry 3" and "Far Cry 4," which have somewhat similar gameplays, were released only two years apart from each other.

But according to iDigitalTimes, the fifth installment would not happen the same way; the new game would reportedly be built using a modified engine to ensure that it would stand out from the installments before it and not disappoint fans.

iDigitalTimes also reported that a 2016 release is unlikely because it would take a lot of time to ensure a very impressive gameplay.

Whether or not a "Far Cry 5" will happen in 2016 remains unknown, but based on the sales of "Far Cry 4," gamers are expecting that the next game should come out sooner.

Meanwhile, a report from Movie Pilot stated that Ubisoft needs to up its game if they want "Far Cry 5" to be better than the previous installments. The report suggested that a new game would need a fascinating lead character and a more interesting plot. Furthermore, it also suggested that featuring dinosaurs in the next release from the series could be a pretty cool idea.

So long as the game maintains its amazing combat scenes, fans should be able to appreciate however "Far Cry 5" would turn out.
