Bethesda Softworks has not confirmed any news on the release date for "Elder Scrolls 6" or "Skyrim 2," but fans are eager to know if the developer will really be releasing the next installment soon.

According to Day Herald, Bethesda typically releases a new game every four years and its last release was "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" back in 2011. Fans are now expecting that pretty soon, a new "Elder Scrolls" game should arrive.

During its release, "Skyrim" was received well and this is because the game developer spent a lot of time carefully working on the game details, just like how it prepared so much for the release of the much anticipated "Fallout 4."

As everyone can see, "Fallout 4" is a huge success, so it's expected that Bethesda will use the same approach when making "Elder Scrolls 6" or "Skyrim 2."

Adding to this is the statement from Bethesda Vice President for PR and Marketing Pete Hines, in which it was stated that the company confirms they won't be rushing into making a new game.

"We're not the sort of publisher that focuses on 'what's our 25 titles for 2015,'" he said, according to a report from The Telegraph back in June.

"We do smaller stuff, we don't publish to scale, we try to publish to quality," Hines added.

What this translates to is that fans should not rush if they want a game that's worth waiting for and playing.

So far, there's no exact release date for the game yet, but GamingBolt has its speculations. According to the news outlet, the next "Elder Scrolls" or "Skyrim" game is expected to arrive in the holiday season of 2018.

If Bethesda has not started on the project yet, late 2018 should be the earliest predicted date, as the developers need more time to create an impressive game.
