Despite all the challenges in their marriage, Anna Duggar continues to stand by her husband's side.
During the second season premiere of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," Josh Duggar's wife appeared to help Jessa baby-proof her home for her nine-month-old son Spurgeon, and to give an update about their relationship that was rocked by a lot of controversies last year.
After her thorough inspection of Jessa and husband Ben Seewald's home, Anna told them that they missed out on a lot of spots that could be potentially dangerous for toddlers. She knows a lot of stuff about baby-proofing, since she and Josh already have four children together.
But when asked about the current state of her relationship with her husband, Anna revealed that she remains hopeful that they can move forward from the cheating and sexual molestation scandals that surfaced last year.
"As I see Josh taking steps to do what's right, it brings a lot of joy and helps heal the pain that we walked through," Anna told the cameras as reported by Mirror UK. "We are just taking it one day at a time, and working on strengthening our relationship as a couple and with our children."
Their marriage suffered after the public found out that that Josh cheated on Anna using several Ashley Madison accounts when she was pregnant with their fourth child. It was also revealed that he was also involved in a child molestation scandal when he was a teenager, and some of his victims happened to be his younger sisters.
The scandals also affected the rest of the Duggar family, since TLC decided to cancel their long-running reality show "19 Kids and Counting" due to the scandal.
More than a year after the scandals broke out, advertisers like Trivago, Gerber Life, Hotwire and Thumbtack.com continue to cut ties with the family after their commercials were aired during the "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" season 2 premiere.
In other news, Jessa and Ben announced that they are expecting their second child to arrive in February 2017.
