Drake has chosen to keep quiet amidst the rumors surrounding his new album, "Views From the 6." However, the 29-year-old rapper caused some buzz when he teased fans with a snippet from his album.

Drake uploaded to Vine last Thursday a preview of a song presumed to be included in his upcoming album, according to a report from Billboard.

The six-minute clip featured the artist's vocals and some R&B beats. Other than that, the video didn't reveal much about the song or the upcoming album.

Drake's "Views From the 6" will be his fourth full length album and the first since his last release, "Nothing Was the Same" in 2013.

The album has been teased numerous times ever since it was announced in 2014, but the record still needs a confirmed release date.

In a previous report from International Business Times, there were hints that Drake's new album will be released on Jan. 6, 2016.

The news comes after a video was posted on Twitter by Daily Rap, which seemed to suggest that Drake's album will be arriving sooner than expected. The video showed the familiar owl logo and an artwork that looked like the one Drake uploaded on Instagram, the report continued.

According to the news portal, it remains to be seen whether or not the video uploaded contained legitimate details of the artist's album. Drake and the management has yet to comment on the matter.

Meanwhile, other rumors suggested that the Canadian rapper worked with Beyonce, Willow Smith, and Tinashe to come up with some of the songs in the album. Also, there were reports claiming that Drake's ongoing beef with Meek Mill serves as "fuel" for the upcoming album, IBTimes noted.

So far, the latest from Drake is his mixtape titled "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" and a collaboration with Future in the album "What a Time to Be Alive."
