Fans of Drake may not need to wait any longer as his newest album is coming sooner than expected.

The Canadian singer's most awaited "Views From The 6" album now has a release date, all thanks to a teaser on Twitter that dropped the hint, International Business Times reported.

According to the teaser, Drake's new album will be out on Jan. 6, 2016. However, the report noted that there's no confirmation if the video, which was posted on Daily Rap, was legit or not.

The 20-second video clip showed a sketch of the 29-year-old Drake, the OVO owl logo, and the words "The 6 is watching," followed by the date "01.06.2016" at the end of the clip.

The "Hotline Bling" hitmaker has yet to confirm the authenticity of the content of the teaser, but there were some previous teasers that may coincide with what's been revealed in the video.

IBTimes continued that Drake himself uploaded a photo on Instagram — which was already taken down — that may provide the clues. The photo that the rapper shared on the social media is of a billboard he bought and had an artwork that looked the same as the one that was featured in the video.

Meanwhile, Drake's camp has not commented on the teaser and the leaked video is, after all, just a teaser, which also means there's no certainty to it.

However, based on previous reports, the latest album could be released early next year, and that would be fantastic news for all Drake fans.

Drake has been a highly successful artist with a solid fan base. As a recording artist, he's walking around with a net worth of $75 million, Gigwise gathered. This year has so far been great for Drake.

If the mysterious teaser proves to be true, Drake's upcoming album, which is a highly anticipated one, will surely contribute more to his success.
