The role-playing fighting game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is now out in the United States and Canada. Game fans in Europe will have to wait until Oct. 28 to get the game. Japanese fans, on the other hand, will have to wait until Nov. 2 before they get their hands on it, while the rest of the world got their hands on it today, Oct. 27.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" fans who have pre-ordered the game before their official release date are also now enjoying Goku Black and the Tao Pai Stick. The bonus character is from the "Dragon Ball Super" anime series, and he can be used in the game as a playable one. On the other hand, the magic stick can be used to travel around the new central hub district, the Conton City.

With the game proper itself, iDigital Times reported that the story mode of the new game is a continuation of the previous game. Players will act as a member of the Time Patrol that needs to stop the villains from disturbing the existing timeline. Tora and Mira, the antagonists from the first game, are back with new recruits, and they are more determined than ever to disrupt the Dragon Ball timeline.

Fans who enjoy having intense fights will surely enjoy the new game, especially since it is available at 60 fps. One exciting change that happened in the second game is the ability of the opponent not to fall back when attacked, and because of this, players can now launch a Kamehameha attack for a more dramatic finishing move.

Siliconera suggested that the game instructors are also of great help to improve one's skill level. Battle-proven warriors will also share their knowledge with the players. Piccolo will immediately teach the Evil Explosion, Yamcha offers the power of Fake Death, Tein will share Dodon Ray, and Kirin will teach the Rise to Action move. Players will have several instructors as they move up the ladder on the Parallel Quest tutorial.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC platforms.
