"Destiny 2" has been previously announced to be available by 2017, and although no specific date has been mentioned, it didn't stop fans from trying to get more information. It seems that the developers of the game are not making it any more difficult for the players to know more, as hints of an announcement are underway.

In the recent Bungie Weekly Update, community manager David "DeeJ" Dague dropped clues that got fans all the more agitated about the anticipated release. DeeJ mentioned: "The week after [Thanksgiving], we'll be packing our bags for Anaheim, CA. The particulars of our mission are still a mystery. We'll cross that finish line soon."

For true-blue gamers, this is an almost sure giveaway that Bungie, makers of "Destiny 2," could be making an appearance in the upcoming PlayStation Experience on Dec. 3 to 4, which will take place in Anaheim, California. It could point to the possibility of getting glimpses on developments for the new "Destiny" title.

VG24/7 also speculates that there's also a huge probability that there could be an early demo held in the Game Awards, which happens on Dec. 1. The said event has been well known for game debuts, so if "Destiny 2" is finally close to launching, the scenario isn't at all farfetched.

A lot of excitement has been brewing ever since the announcement of a sequel has been made. Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg said during the company's financial briefing that "Destiny 2" is slated for fall 2017, and that it will aim to appeal to both experienced gamers and first timers alike, Segment Next has learned.

In other related news, rumors are spreading about the game's possible release on PC. In a NeoGAF forum, discussions have been going on about the said platform support. Either way, it can happen, given the fact that most games in the market have PC versions, expanding the community's size.

If Bungie is trying to drive everyone mad until "Destiny 2's" release, it looks like they are doing a swell job with it.
