'Dead Rising 4' release date: title tipped to be revealed at E3?

The first pictures of the most anticipated game "Dead Rising 4" are out, so it could be possible that the game will be announced at the E3 2016.

According to PC Advisor, the newest installment in the "Dead Rising" series could be a remake of the first game, with more features such as co-op and online capabilities. Additionally, the website points out that the website that leaked the images, ThisGenGaming, notes that the images released feature Frank West, the main character of the first game, riding in the snow. Furthermore, the game is rumored to be set in Willamette, Colorado once again, which gives more credence to it being a remake. 

Also, while the game is all but released, a lot of the rumors online didn't specify whether or not the newest "Dead Rising" game will offered on platforms other than Xbox One. However, fans are clamoring for a PlayStation 4 release as well, with some going so far as to say that releasing the game on multiple platforms will certainly boost the sales of the upcoming game.

Capcom has also been reported to develop the fourth installment of "Dead Rising" in Vancouver, and according to another article made by ThisGenGaming, fans are on the lookout for the game's multiplatform capabilities as well as its Xbox One to Windows 10 integration. In any case, the speculations about this game will just increase as the E3 2016 draws near, and by that time comes, hopefully all these rumors will come to rest.

"Dead Rising" first came out as an open-world survival horror game developed and published by video game giant Capcom, with Keiji Inafune as its producer and Yoshinori Kawano as director. "Dead Rising" was designed to be more of a sandbox game, as its ending depended on player decisions throughout the game's progression. This game was released on Aug. 8, 2006 for the Xbox 360 console and is considered a commercial success up to this day.
