'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' episode 12 news, spoilers: The Pilgrim looks to assassinate the team

 The CW

After traveling back in time and having some Western adventure as well as meeting Jonah Hex, the team will now have to deal with Time Hunter's next agent, who is hunting down their younger selves, before they were heroes. Will the team be able to face their own selves?

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode, from DenofGeek, says: "The team is targeted by The Pilgrim (guest star Faye Kingslee), a deadly assassin who wants to erase the Legends from the timeline by killing their younger, non-superhero selves. As a protective countermeasure, Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides Sara (Caity Lotz), Snart (Wentworth Miller), Rory (Dominic Purcell), Professor Stein (Victor Garber) and Jax (Franz Drameh) need to kidnap their past selves first before The Pilgrim gets to them. Coming face-to-face with the younger versions of themselves proves to be both a physical and emotional challenge for certain members of the team who would rather forget their past. Rip tells them he has a refuge for their precious cargo – an orphanage that raises future Time Masters and where he himself grew up."

Hex (Johnathon Schaech) may play a vital role in the upcoming episode where The Pilgrim's main job is to wipe out the whole team while they were still powerless. This is a great plan by Time Hunter: Kill the Legends before they were legends, which means the assassin will just be dealing with humans, but she is wrong.

The Pilgrim encounters the Legends when they learn about Time Hunter's plan of targeting their younger selves. However, not everybody on the team agrees with the plan as several do not want to dwell in their bitter past.

The clip starts with Ray (Brandon Routh) telling a young Mick Rory to "come with me if you want to live," a famous catch phrase from the "Terminator" movie series. The Pilgrim is shown attacking several persons just to get the job done. During the end of the trailer, its seems that she has succeeded in taking a baby boy from a hospital nursery.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" episode 12, "Last Refuge," will air on Thursday, April 21, on The CW channel. Rachel Talalay ("Tank Girl" and "Doctor Who") was tasked to take the helm this episode.
