Thursday on 'Days of Our Lives', Chad asks Melanie to give him details on Kristen's death. She thinks it isn't necessary but he insists that he has to know what happened to his sister. She relents, and tells him that he's nothing like the rest of the DiMera family. Chad says that he hopes things work out between her and Brady.

Meanwhile at Kristen's castle in Italy, Stefano threatens Marlena that he'll kill her in the same way that his daughter was killed. Marlena tells him that this is all about her and not Kristen. She tells him that he is a part of their grandchildren and she wouldn't change them for anything. But Stefano is unmoved and he orders Carson to throw her out the window.

In the square, Nicole tells Daniel that she heard about what happened in Italy and that she's sorry. He asks her to dinner, she declines because she's working on a story but tells him that she'll call him after a few days.

Abe goes to Chad's to find out where Stefano is. Abe thinks that Stefano might have Marlena. Chad says that he has no idea. With Abe's prodding, Chad finally calls Stefano.

In Italy, Stefano ignores Chad's call as Marlena screams while struggling for her life.

Here's what to expect on 'Days of Our Lives' on Friday, May 15:

Chad tries to save Marlena and prevent Stefano from making a big mistake; Abigail and Chad share a close moment; Nicole uncovers a clue regarding Serena and Xander's connection; Brady makes plans for his future with Melanie.

'Days of Our Lives' airs from Mondays to Fridays at 1pm on NBC.
