'Dance Moms' season 7 cast news: exit of Jojo Siwa to be confirmed in next episode of season 6?

It is looking more and more like Jojo Siwa will not be part of "Dance Moms" season 7 at all after missing the first five episodes of the new season.

Siwa recently sat down for an interview with Access Hollywood, where she was asked if she will return to the Lifetime series as her absence has proved otherwise.

The 14-year-old dance star played coy saying that she is technically on the show as she appears in the episodes of the current season, which is still on-air.

As for her status in "Dance Moms" season 7, she said that the upcoming season 6 episode titled "Jojo is A No-Show" will enlighten fans on that aspect.

"You guys are all going to find out what the truth is [in the episode]," Siwa said, which suggests that "Dance Moms" season 7 might not see her back.

This is strengthened with the title of the season 6 episode that Siwa says will provide answers. The promo for it teases that Siwa skips a performance as she did not want to do it due to its nature.

The promo made mention of the performance being titled "Suicide Hotline," which is emotionally heavy especially for Kalani Hilliker and her mother Kira Gerard as a friend they know committed suicide around the time they had to perform it.

It is unclear if this is the performance that Siwa did not want to take part in. As per the reports, Siwa and her mother did not appear on the show and any other competitions with the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) after that.

This suggests that Siwa is likely not going to be part of "Dance Moms" season 7, which would explain why she has been absent in the production for the new season.

Whether or not this is indeed the case, fans will learn in "Dance Moms" season 6 episode 29, "Jojo is A No-Show," airing on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
