For those who were able to tune in to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Raw last Jan. 11, many are perhaps hearing the one versus all match that WWE chairman Vince McMahon booked.
In a way, it seems like a preview of things to come for the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble, only that the WWE creative team decided to add a new twist by inserting Brock Lesnar in that melee.
Obviously left with no other choice, Lesnar has now become a pawn for the McMahons. He run roughshod over the "all" who went at Reigns, although he capped it all by handing the Big Dog with a beating as well.
Heyman wanted a free ride to WrestleMania 32 as he tried to book a slot in the video seen below.
So as it turns out, Stephanie McMahon made it clear that if Lesnar wants the title and a slot at WrestleMania 32, he has to go through 29 other WWE stars — the same road that Roman Reigns has to go through.
Judging by the body language of Heyman after being told off by Stephanie, there was something pretty off. Apparently, Heyman didn't seem fine with the arrangement and that something has got to give soon.
As Jason Powell of Prowrestling points out, stopping at Reigns vs. Owens would have been interesting already, but pouring every heel that "The Authority" could get their hands on somehow doesn't make sense.
Regardless, it will be an interesting route to the Royal Rumble with Lesnar and Reigns vying for a similar goal. With that said, both stars seem to be set to do everything in their power to wear the gold and book a spot at the grandest stage of them all this April.
Hence, don't be a bit surprised if both are seen as the last men standing by Jan. 24.
