'Boruto: Naruto the Movie' release date, plot rumor update: Will Mitsuki be a villain or ally?

Boruto: Naruto the Movie is expected to debut this August in Japan although it remains to be seen when it will be shown in North America since there is no word on whether it would be also shown simultaneously or later perhaps in the Fall.

Aside from the fact that its debut will certainly be something for manga fans, many are now speculating on what to expect once Boruto: Naruto the Movie does hit theatres.

Orochimaru is said to be the main villain for this movie, resurrecting himself and taking the form of another body. Though it may seem that Orochimaru may not be able to stand up to Boruto and Sarada, he resorts to another desperate attempt to take over Sharingan of the Uchina clan. Sarada will reportedly be used as his pawn to exact his revenge.

Another mysterious character is in the midst, Mitsuki which means 'full moon' in Japanese. But the thing is, fans are left to figure on whether Mitsuki would be an ally or another villain.

According to a publication, Mitsuki is described as an enigma shrouded with lots of mysteries. Depending on how you analyze and understand that description could point to either good or bad. But then again, how many times have we seen the same line which eventually ends up seeing that mystery person as neutral or an ally?

Moving on, there is the question on the lineage and relationships tied. Among that includes who will be training Boruto. Will it be Sasuke or Naruto?

Boruto is the son of Naruto so the immediate belief is that it would be he who would be training Boruto. So if that were the case, why was Boruto being trained by Sasuke? Expect to get the answer to that in the upcoming movie.
