"Bones" season 11 recently premiered and fans got to see their favorite crime-fighting tandem lead a normal life away from solving cases.
However, it wasn't for long until Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) went back to their respective jobs, because after all it's what makes who they are and as what showrunner Michael Peterson previously said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Booth and Brennan "can't escape who they are and their fate is really to do this job."
On the next episode titled "The Donor in the Drink," which will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 15, Booth and Brennan will be officially back to work at the FBI and Jeffersonian and will work on a case involving remains discovered at a fish farm, the official synopsis from FOX stated.
It was also mentioned that Booth will try to adjust working back for the bureau and will discover that Aubrey (John Boy) is now claiming Booth's old office.
Episode 3 will also showcase the complicated situation of Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo (Pej Vahdat), with the former finding it difficult to decide whether to choose work or their relationship.
As revealed by Peterson in a fresh report from TV Line, fans will see some shake-up in their relationship. Cam and Arastoo is "broken up at this point" and the latter will be gone for a while.
Peterson also said that Arastoo will be coming back and viewers will get to see him by episode 10, which will then pick up a new storyline.
Meanwhile, Cam and Arastoo will not be the only ones to experience a shake-up, as it was already reported that Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) will also go through major changes and it will involve Audrey.
Speaking to Parade, the showrunner didn't give much about Angela/Hodgins story but he repeatedly mentioned that episode 10 is something to look forward to concerning the couple.
Peterson even said in the Parade interview that that particular episode is "probably going to be the biggest bad" that viewers will get to see.
New episodes of "Bones" season 11 air every Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
