"Bones" season 11's fifth episode was the hot topic last week as it makes the episode more interesting for Halloween.

The Halloween special showed fans a visit from characters from "Sleepy Hollow."

In the fifth episode titled "Resurrection in the Remains," FBI Agent Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) are Washington and are visiting The Jeffersonian to look for a 200-year-old headless corpse.

However, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and the team are already investigating a case that is somehow connected to Abbie and Ichabod's case.

The two teams end up working together to find the truth behind the corpse.

As promised by showrunner Jonathan Collier, the episode was indeed filled with fun moments, including Brennan giving advice to Ichabod about his relationship with Abbie, and Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) declaring his being a conspiracy theorist rather than a supernatural believer, with Cam (Tamara Taylor) giving him a puzzled look.

The episode indeed gathered the attention of fans because based on the ratings "Sleepy Hollow" enjoyed a 38 percent increase (1.1) from the previous week with a total of 4.6 million viewers, while "Bones" benefited from a 12 percent increase (1.3) with a total of 6.4 million viewers, as reported by TV Line.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode will no longer feature a supernatural plotline. Titled "The Senator in the Street Sweeper," the sixth episode will show a grisly crime that happened to a senator, CarterMatt reported.

The timing for such episode is just right considering that the political scene is hot this season.

In the upcoming episode, the show will also guest star "Impractical Jokers'" Sal Vulcano and James Murray playing as sanitation workers who discover a dead body.

Brenda Strong and Nicholas Gonzalez will also join the episode as guest stars who will work with Brennan's team to find out the truth behind the murder.

"Bones" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
