'Bold and the Beautiful' spoilers, plot details: Rick reacts to Maya's revelation

Last week on 'The Bold and the Beautiful', Katie walks in on Bill and Justin talking and demands to know what they're planning. Katie warns Bill about the repercussions if he publishes Maya's story. She tries to text Liam, but Bill grabs her phone.

At Forrester Creations, Ridge meets with Eric and Brooke. They're all worrying about the scandal that Bill will cause. Ridge blames Rick for putting himself in this position, but Brooke places the blame on Maya.

"It's karma that's coming for Rick," Ridge says.

Meanwhile at Big Bear, Rick serves Maya champagne and asks her for her answer to his proposal. She insists that she has to tell him all about her past, so she begins her story on how she became the woman that she is today. She tells him about her strict parents and how she moved to L.A. Maya also mentions that Nicole's reappearance in her life has allowed her to look back at the past so that she and Rick will have a future. Rick recalls the estrogen pills, and Maya says that they help her live the way that she wants to.

"I had a boy's name, Myron," Maya said. Rick asks her why her parents put that name on her birth certificate.

"Because they raised me as a boy," she said.
