"Bloodline" season 3 is speculated to be more intriguing than ever before. It is rumored that Danny Rayburn's (Ben Mendelsohn) ghost will continue to terrorize his brother John Rayburn (Kyle Chandler). There are also rumors that Nolan Rayburn (Owen Teague), Danny's son, will be back to be a key character.

It is now being rumored that Mendelsohn will be exiting the show since his character was killed during the first season of "Bloodline," and is just a recurring ghost in the second season. There are also other projects that involve the actor, "Rogue One" and "Ready Player One," which will consume much of his time, Movie News Guide reported.

However, it was previously mentioned by the show's co-creator, Glenn Kessler, to The Hollywood Reporter that Mendelsohn will still be a part of the series since his character is a key component of the dark family drama. Fans are likely to see him once again for a few more seasons.

Kessler said, "It feels like the DNA of the show is really informed by Danny's influence on his family, so that will always be there, either in death or being haunted by his memory. At the center of this tragedy is the effect of this black-sheep brother on the family. So we never want to get too far from his murder and we never want to get too far from the influence he had on his family."

Meanwhile, Danny's son, Nolan, may be put in the spotlight in season 3. The speculation stemmed from an interview by Tampa Bay Times with Teague that happened a few months back. The actor stated that his character on the show is very young, and he wants to make things better but needs to do bad things in order to achieve it. Nolan may also try to distance himself from all these hoopla that is happening to his family since he is already full of guilt. But, the actor added, he does not really know the future for his character.

"I don't think anyone does," Teague said.

"Bloodline" season 3 will arrive on Netflix in 2017 with 10 episodes.
