The fourth DLC pack for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be released later this year, and it is confirmed that the Zombies story that began eight years ago will finally be concluded with its release.

According to Game Rant, Jason Blundell, the senior executive producer of Treyarch, promised that the upcoming map for the fourth and final expansion for "Black Ops 3" will finally tie all the loose ends in the game's ongoing Zombies story. This includes a proper ending for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" game's last Zombies map, Origin, enabling fans to finally have a proper and long-overdue closure they all deserve.

However, other than that, there is no other information available about this Zombie map since Blundell is still keeping his silence on the matter as of the moment. He even went so far as to imply that there are a number of Treyarch employees still being kept in the dark about the Zombies story ending. Actually, the reason for this is that the process of developing a Zombies map begins with Blundell as well as the "Black Ops 3" gameplay director and lead writer before involving the rest of the team.

This ensures that the details of the DLC's ending will not be leaked before its release. Regardless of the tight level of secrecy, Blundell still hints at some of the things fans should expect for the ending, saying that it will spark emotion among the veteran Zombies players. The Treyarch producer is worried that players might misunderstand the game's complex ending as something akin to trolling, but he ensures the fans that it is not the intention in any case.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is available for the PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and One, and the PC. Its fourth expansion is expected to be released before November.
