First off, Microsoft had a running countdown of the availability of all its upcoming deals for the holiday. Among these deals, customers will find that the company is cutting down the price of the Xbox One S 500 GB model to just $189, also including a free game to further sweeten the deal.

There is also a bundle that offers the above-mentioned console, a free game of the buyer's choice, plus athree-month membership to both Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold. Microsoft states that customers will save $50 when they avail of the bundle.

The Surface Pro 256 GB model is also getting a discount. It can be bought for $329 starting Nov. 23.

The HP Pavilion x360 can also be bought for $829, giving customers $230 worth of savings. This 2-in-1 personal computer boasts an Intel Core i5-7200U rated at 2.50 GHz (3.10 GHz with the Turbo Boost Technology). Its video card is no pushover: an Advanced Micro Devices(AMD) Radeon 530 with 2 GB DDR3 dedicated video random access memory (VRAM).

Meanwhile, Sony also has a number of special deals announced over at the official PlayStation blog. They have PlayStation VR bundles starting at $299.99, and customers can avail of these from participating retailers. The PlayStation 4 (PS4) itself will be available for $199, and the blog describes Black Friday as the "perfect time to pick up a PS4 as a gift" or even as "a treat for yourself."

Lenovo is also promoting "Black Friday Doorbusters," which promises that buyers can save up to 36% when shopping for their products.
