After Beyoncé startled the world with the controversial release of the "Lemonade" visual album on HBO, everyone began to talk about the alleged infidelity of her husband Jay-Z and his rumored other woman Rachel Roy. But Roy finally broke her silence regarding her involvement in the controversy.

The fashion designer's name was dragged into the controversy when she appears to identify herself as the other woman who Beyoncé referred to in the song "Sorry," where the Queen Bey called the rumored mistress "Becky with the good hair."

Just hours after the special program aired on HBO, Roy uploaded a photo in Instagram with the caption, "Good hair don't care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens." But the post is now deleted after fans to the music icon posted hurtful comments on the picture.

Roy was also rumored to be involved in the previous physical altercation between Jay-Z and Beyoncé's sister Solange Knowles during the 2014 Met Gala after-party. According to rumors, Solange got furious when Jay-Z got extra flirty with the fashion designer during that time. The two women were also seen having a shouting match with each other earlier.

But Roy already released a statement to People to clarify the rumors that was ignited by her Instagram post.

"I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that," Roy stated. "There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors."

She also revealed that her daughters are also receiving the same kind of online hate that was thrown her way since "Lemonade" was aired. She appealed to the haters to stop cyber bullying addressed to her and her kids.

On the other hand, a source told News.com.au that the Becky reference in Beyoncé's new release is just a marketing ploy that was created by the couple to promote the album. "They develop these storylines to sell albums. Lemonade is a movie crafted to drive sales. Jay and Beyoncé are entertainers at the top of their game. Do you think Jay would release her album on [his own] Tidal if it really was all about him? He is 100 per cent behind this," the source claimed.
