Season 3 of "Better Call Saul" will be featuring a familiar face. A "Breaking Bad" character, Gustavo Fring, played by Gianrcarlo Esposito, will be joining in. The news was broken by the showrunners during an interview, which was surprisingly too early from their original plan.

Showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould were hoping to prolong the mystery of their incoming character. The clues were put out in the 10 episode titles for the show, taking the first letter for every title and playing around with it. It says "FRINGSBACK," an anagram, Vanity Fair reported.

Gould said, "We were hoping it would be more of an open question at this point. We had this—to us—this very bright idea of encoding the words 'Fring's Back' in the episode titles. We worked very hard; more than that, the folks in our office, Jenn Carroll and Ariel Levine, worked very, very hard trying to help us figure that out. And we thought we'd be revealing it maybe sometime over the summer. I guess we really underestimated the genius and hard work of our fans."

Gould also mentioned that this instance, with the fans solving the mystery so easily, reminded them that they must pay extra attention to even small details of the show. They are dealing with eagle-eyed audiences, and they don't want to be caught off guard.

The report added that fans should not expect Fring to be shown immediately when season 3 starts. Fans should remember that this character is very cautious, a long term-planner and a man of great resources, not to mention that he is highly skilled. Even Walter White needed to work harder and overcome obstacles just to meet the man face-to-face.

The date for the premiere of "Better Call Saul" season 3 has not been announced yet, but the show is expected to be back by early 2017.
