The first patch released to fix the obtrusive issues in the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight" was not able to do its job 100 percent. Now, Warner Bros. came out with a new patch in the hopes of finally eliminating the faulty visual elements of the game and more.
Just recently, a new PC update was made available and it's laden with loads of fixes for the game. The update, for starters, aims to reduce frame-rate hitches by improving the VRAM management, which is the culprit behind the recurring graphical issues.
The update also promises "Batman: Arkham Knight" players that the other infamous hitch that messes up with the game saves will no longer be plaguing players as well the delay on aiming a gadget using the keyboard and mouse – another issue that cost the gamer's performance.
The game's graphics department is guaranteed to get better with the update. The bug that causes "full screen movies to play at half the monitor's refresh rate on some systems" should also be decimated as well as some Multi-Monitor specific bugs.
Players will no longer have to play through the crash issues of "Batman: Arkham Knight," thanks to the new PC Update. But more than these fixes, the update was also designed to add support to the recently released November DLC.
For a while, the expansion pack was only accessible to players with the season pass and premium edition. It was soon made available to everyone with the help of Valve. That being said, players can now play as other characters in AR predator challenges.
Going back to the fixes, media outlets like VG247 and Digital Foundry confirm that the update's repairs aren't as breathtaking as they should have. The improvements are only minor as the issues on GPUs with 2 GB of VRAM still very much persist.
