'Avengers' 3 and 4 plot: What's to expect

"Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" was a smashing heat, breaking box office records to date. But as many may probably know by now, there is still a lot twists ahead as the Marvel Universe connects each of the plots leading to Avengers Infinity War.

One thing about Marvel movies is that you have to stay until the whole film ends. That includes the credits! Why? Well there are some scenes that could indicate on what lies ahead for the Marvel superheroes.

For Avengers 2, Thanos appeared once more (like he did in Avengers 1) taking the Infinity Gauntlet saying that 'He will do it himself".

Of course, everyone knows that with a villain such as Thanos, destruction and mayhem is expected to follow suit. And with the next film's title practically speaking for itself, fans can more or less gauge what is in store by 2018 when Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 hits theatres once more. Part 2 will follow a year after.

To recall, Thanos is in search of the six all powerful Infinity stones dating back to the first Avengers film. The Avengers were able to thwart all that against Loki, Thor's brother of course.

This was followed up when Thanos made an appearance once more on Guardians of the Galaxy. Ronan was supposed to get a stone for Thanos but things didn't turn out smoothly seeing that Ronan the Accuser double-crossed him. In the end, Star-Lord and the gang were able to thwart Ronan.

For now, it remains to be seen if Marvel will be following the plot of the comic book version series released in 1991. Thanos is eventually planning to wipe out of the universe but not if Marvel's bunch of heroes have anything to say about it.

For now, we have seen the Tessaract (Space Stone), The Aether (Reality Stone), The Orb (Power Stone) and Loki's Scepter (Mind Stone). With four stones already out in the open, there are two more stones which have yet to surface.

Rumors are led to believe that these stones could come up in one of the upcoming Marvel movies. They are Doctor Strange (November 4, 2016), Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Black Panther (July 6, 2018) or Captain Marvel (November 2, 2018).

Where could those two stones crop up? Make a wild guess.
